Galataport is easily accessible by public transportation, with several tram and bus lines stopping at or nearby the port. It is also within walking distance of many of Istanbul’s top attractions, including the Galata Tower and the Grand Bazaar.
For tram, you should take the T1 Kabatas-Bagcilar tramline to the Kabatas direction and stop at Karakoy.
From Taksim, you can take the funicular line down to the venue.
Other than these, you can take any bus going to or passing by Karakoy. Our suggestion is that you first get off at Eminonu and walk the bridge to the Karakoy. Walking between these two places will grant you lots of vibrant energy and you’ll take the best shots of the Bosphorus and the Bosphorus Bridge.
If you’d like to have a joyful cruise, you can also hop on any boat stopping at Karakoy and get to the land at the Karakoy Pier.
Overall, Galataport is a vibrant and dynamic destination that should not be missed during a visit to Istanbul.
